Trouble in the Jar - Spread 6

Brittney’s senior thesis, Trouble in the Jar, is a 48-page silent children’s book that follows Sorceress Alara, who processes magical terrariums, and how harvesting materials from the terrariums mirrors the real-world issues of resource depletion and climate change, emphasizing the theme that actions have consequences.

Spread 6 shows the passage of time in the story. Alara spent the beginning of the book tidying up the cottage in preparation for completing the big, powerful immortality potion the next day. As she gets ready for bed, she lights a fire in the furnace while the coral reef jar sits on top.
